6-fold multi tool punching machine

The CNC punching and nibbling machines HESSE FP and RP are built in C-frame design with 30 ton punching capacity able to work on sheet metals up to a thickness of 6.0 mm. The longitudinal and transverse axis are moved over linear guidance and ball screws free from play with a positioning accuracy of +/- 0.1 mm and a repetition accuracy of +/- 0.05 mm. Heart of the machine is CNC SIEMENS Sinumerik 840DI with large colour display, network abilities and dialogue-led operation which supports the user. Automatic repositioning and tool lubrication are likewise standard as a complete software package to start immediately into production.

FP vs. RP – The difference
The tool holder of model FP is firmly and not swivelling installed on the machine, i.e. the respective tool is used in its actual position and cannot be brought by the machine itself into another position (The tool is not swivelling).
With the model RP the upper and lower tool holder is swivelling. Thus all tools can be brought automatically into any position by the control (The tool is swivelling). This plays an important role particularly with not turning-symmetrically tools e.g. oblong and rectangular tools.
