TOOLING
New Standard is a modular tool system, developed by WILA for press brakes,
in which a perfect balance is achieved between precision, performance and
price.

ACCURACY
All tools are ground with extremely high precision of +/- 0.01 mm to ensure
that they are fully interchangeable.

SAFETY
When the clamping system is opened, all tools remain in place. The Safety-
Click-system guarantees the safe interchange of tools.
(Due to safety regulations, this is limited to 12.5 kg.) This means that tools
can never just fall out of the clamping system.

LONGEVITY
To guarantee a long lifetime all tools are manufactured of high-quality material
and the bending radiuses of all tools are hardened up to 60° HRc.
Therefore they are suitable for bending practically all materials.

ERGONOMICS
All standard tools are available in 3 easy to handle standard lengths.
In 515 mm continuous [/1], in 550 mm standard segments [/2] and in 200 mm
(two 100 mm pieces) [/3]

The BIU top tools weighting up to 12,5 kg are equipped with a patented safety mechanism, known as Safety-Click©.With this device these tools can be vertically interchanged at any time in the New Standard upper tool clamping unit.

BIU top tools sections weighting more than 12,5 kg are equipped with fixed security pins, allowing for horizontal interchange only.
